Re: MY13 WRX hatch subwoofer enclosure

Looks good for a first attempt. I would draw over the carpet edges and staples with black felt pen, that will help blend them in....

Re: MY13 WRX hatch subwoofer enclosure

We have 4 x 12 inch sub boxes stacked up under the house as well as 2 x 1000wt amps I have been thinking about putting one in my 4x4 but they are soo big it has put me off. After seeing your DIY I might take to one of them with a jigsaw and make it fit somewhere where it wont be constantly in the wa...

Re: Crazy torque reading?

The 2 highest lines are related to kwts.. the numbers across the bottom of the sheet is the rpm.. The 2 lower value lines represent torque which is peaking around 3500 but it is a pretty useless chart.. I find that if you ask the tuner for kwt values and torque values they will do a sheet with the t...

Are you sure... I think you will find the 156kw at 6000 rpm.. I don't think it would do 7800 rpm..

Re: Crazy torque reading?

Dyno charts can be a bit tricky.. especially when the color coding is hard to see ..Looking at the 6000rpm area it looks like it has gone from 128ish kwatw which is normal ish to 156 kwatw which is also about right for a good exhaust and a tune.. The torque is usually in NM not just N ..

Re: GC8 TBE need tune?

I have seen a new TBE damage an engine (bang, knock knock knock) and it was enough to make me wait till I had gathered all the goodies I was planning on fitting and installing them all at once then driving very slowly to the tuner.. It was frustrating but it did save a lot of money on tunes and I ha...

Re: Should I restore a 94?

I think you have answered your own question.. Yes, I am afraid you are crazy....unless of course you have unlimited funds so you can pay someone else to do the job. The price of old rexs has fallen a fair bit in recent years but the price of parts has increased and you could eeeeasily spent $10k reb...

Re: Engine immobiliser

There is a proceedure to reset the code. Do a search... disconnect the battery , hold down "0" while someone else reconnects the battery then input the code ..or something like that. We have removed the crappy brant systems and replaced them with Mongoose .

Re: Engine immobiliser

Not without the original code... Have a look through all your owners manuals etc in case they wrote it down, also have a look on the spare key fob ...Subaru will sort it in less than an hour........but they will probably charge for 3-4 hours...LOL..They are more trouble than they are worth. Re: Opinions on current setup and possibly upgrades

Should be more than 152 but it depends on the tuner and the dear chosen to do the run. With 18psi you should be making 180-200 but something else may be letting it down. My first thought was you didn't mention injectors..No use haveing big turbo= lots of air and big ic to cool it and a big exhaust t...
