Re: Boofs V3 STI Type R

Great pickup Boof...and you're not wrong about the interior being in good condition, especially for it's age  Thanks for posting up the pics of "one of" your all time favourite cars....great DIY job on the calipers, love the Blue. And yes I agree that Gold rims might do the car mor...

Re: STInky's pride and joy MY17 STI

Welcome to the club Mark, beautiful looking new ride there....not enough white STI's in the club in my humble opinion

Hope to see you at club events once your membership is done!

What's the price difference between these 2 x tyres in your size, do you know? That might help you decide

Re: Bridgestone RE003s Vs Hankook RS3s

Hmmm hadn't heard about the Kumho V720, so looked them up.....seem impressive  Remind me a little of the old Kumho KU36 tread pattern (in an overall concept sense). So what have you narrowed it down to Shane? Re Nitrogen filled tyres - the guys at Traction Tyres spoke about this at the last ...

Agree with KevO.....advertise on our Club website and Club facebook, then certainly ebay, Gumtree etc.

There's absolutely a market for those 3 x 2nd hand items "at market price" of course

Sorry to hear about the divorce :(

Re: Bridgestone RE003s Vs Hankook RS3s

Shane - is the car going to see more Daily driving or more Track Duties?

I'd lean towards the RE003's overall for best value performance......and better in the wet.
But if you're going to "value" or prioritise the performance on track....then I agree with Kurt, go for the Hankooks

Re: 2004 WRX STARTING ISSUES

Yeah that’s what I’m hoping Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Recommend Ross Fraser from Cromwood Auto in Burwood - he recently removed the Brant from my GC8 WRX when it finally gave up the ghost after 17yrs. Ross has been involved with & specialized in Subarus for years and has removed so man...

Re: Hesitation when cold

So you're referring to the 1st start for the day (when cold) and the problem goes away once you've done a few kms of driving & up to operating temp?
If so, my GC8 MY00 has done that for the 10 years I've owned it......hence, pretty normal.

Re: Strut/spring set up re ride height gc8

If I were to do my MY00 GC8 again, I'd go Eibach springs with either oem replacement KYB Excel-G struts (or probably even the KYB AGX adjustables).

The Eibach's as I understand it are not quite as low as the H&R's I have currently and they're a tad more compliant.

2 x Photos of The Famished Wolf venue added into the Event content for your reference....as some of the photos online are prior to their renovations and therefore show a rather small looking building with limited seating
