Re: For the love of a classic - MY99 GC8

crembz - hope you don't mind but I thought I'd bring the suspension discussion over to your build thread rather than sabotage the 'Wanted to Buy' post. Very nice combo the Bilstein/Eibachs if that's the way you end up going - will be very interested to hear what your suspension guy recommends to you...

Re: Gc8 coilovers

Thanks crembz & my apologies as I noticed the spring rates in your 'build thread' AFTER I posted the above  So both sets are 7kg Front/5kg Rear? If so, yes I agree that's plenty stiff for spirited street & occasional track duties. Out of interest, why are you thinking of selling them? ...

Re: Gc8 coilovers

crembz - just to clarify, you have 2 sets of MCA Blues becoming available (one set new and one set near new)?

What spring rates front & rear on each set?

MY05 WRX OEM Stereo Head Unit – FREE to Good Home

I Purchased this MY05 WRX OEM Stereo Head Unit from a fellow forum member years ago with the intention of installing in my GC8, but never did - has since been sitting in a sealed box under the bed. N.B. Does NOT come with the wiring harness/loom (as I purchased the unit without the loom). FREE to go...

Re: slotted front and rear rotors for 06 wrx

Hi Marc,
Are we talking for normal daily road use, road use + spirited weekend driving or for track duties?

Give us an idea of the "type of driving" these front & rear rotors are intended for, to allow our forum members to share more specific advice/feedback with you

Re: 2006 WRX brake upgrade

Re your change of Rotors, yes agree to go with DBA....probably don't need anything better than the 'Street Series' T2 Slotted. 1. Sorry cannot help you re the rears of a 2010 Liberty/Legacy GT. 2. A lot of our members run Project Mu - for your purpose of street duties only, I'd go for the Project Mu...

Re: Wrx 2000 limited edition - seats

Sounds strange to me that your driver & passenger seat backs won't lock in at virtually the straight upright position (ie. 90deg). Like stockhorse, my 2000 WRX seats lock in at virtually 90 degrees, then at various increments from 90 to say 150 degrees or thereabouts.....as you lay the seat back...

Re: Suggestions for new brakes and rotors

Agree with both Delivan & Yeldz...for your driving criteria & MY00 STi, I'd go: DBA4000 T3 Slotted Rotors Front & Rear Project Mu NS400 Pads Front & Rear AND High Temp Brake Fluid If you were throwing more than 2 x track days per year into the mix, I'd lean towards Project Mu HC800 P...
