Re: SubiNats 2018 Tracks?

So we would not be doing the actual track, on the practice day, that we are going to be competing on? Sounds like a great plan.... Not. Great for us travellers. :-) Well technically if we add North and South together from Friday that almosts matches Brabham on the Saturday. Oh well, it is what it i...

Yep, I'll keep the Intel coming.

I gather we still own subinats.com.au or did we transfer to NSW ? It still does not have the 2018 dates.

Geez Leon, what have you done to turn everyone "off" replying to you???  I can only but think the more "modern" forms of social media have taken over... hmmm Yes 'the' Facebook has taken over. Although, I might suggest the social committee we establish a separate ...

SubiNats 2018 Tracks?

Since my rules post http://forum.wrx.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=86708 got zero responses, I thought maybe tracks will get a bit of interest. So the initial plan for Friday was Druitt (North) and Amaroo (South) circuits and Saturday was Gardner (Grand Prix) circuit  which the V8 Supercar...

SubiNats 2018 Rules?

Excellent idea we are not counting points for SubiNats. I agree that is a good idea particularly with travel and cost of 3 events across 2 days. However, do we know what rules are we going to run? If we run stock NSW rules, many of our cars will be in different categories. For example they don't hav...

Re: WRX Motorsport 2018

Well I best start reading then.... lol! Whether people are cheating or not would be a whole different topic. More where I am coming from is the mod sheet allows people to build completely different cars that end up in the same class, which I'm sure some people like, however I'm not sold it is the b...

No pictures this round from me, was too busy replacing brakes mid-session.

+1 for the Flying Nurse, you might have to get a sticker made up Zee.

Re: Oil Catch Cans

I have a very simple catch can set up, very cheap (unbaffled) cans from autobarn. Plumbed that return to intake and they work perfectly. I personally think people spend to much money on catch cans. Edit: I will edit this by saying I run this on a track only car and it is obviously pushed hard. Agre...

Re: Oil Catch Cans

I run the dual Mishimoto unit. https://www.mishimoto.com.au/subaru-sti ... 08-14.html

Pros
Well built, work well. Purpose built.

Cons
The cans are small so need checking during a track day and at the end.
cost to other options.

What are your thoughts? Did you get a Pro Tune or use one of the built in OTS tunes?

I was interested but ended up not buying yet as I cannot get the AccessTuner software for ADM yet.

21 Jan 2017 Phillip Island - Motorsport Round 1

In between my sessions, I managed to get a few pictures of group 2 and some of group 1. Tried to get up close on turn 10. Did anyone get any of group 4? For round 2, I have an idea where I'll donate the camera and we take shots of every session getting pictures of our own cars. I'll just need a volu...
