Re: Help me assemble EJ25 Brisbane?

Only really need to catch can the heads. They both suck and blow. But that said I've had no issues with that so far. Anyway, depends where you are again, I forget, can help if you want. Yeah i have been doing a heap of research and feel like I understand the whole PCV system better now. North Brisb...

Help me assemble EJ25 Brisbane?

Hi guys! In a few weeks I will have my block ready for assembly. I should be fine putting the pistons, rods and crank together in the case however I am a little confused about the whole PCV setup and all of the other hoses/connections. I would also like to do a dual catch can PCV setup while i'm at ...

EJ25 500hp rebuild options

Hey everyone! My 11 WRX recently started getting rod knock so it's time to rebuild. Im planning to rebuild for a max of 500hp although I am probably only aiming for 350-400. There are so many options for pistons/rods so I am going to list a few, I will...

Re: Downshift meet 15/1/2017 @ Samford?

At first I thought, hang on, it was on Sunday, I went. But got it mixed up with slammed. lol. Was ok, I left just as the cops arrived. That sucked as there were some sweet rides there. But Downshift? Dunno. I'll be heading up to Rising Sun on Friday morning though. :) I didnt get to make it to slam...

Re: Bugged

I'd help too. I did my gc8 back in 2015 with full Subaru kit with water pump, pulleys, tensioner, crank seal, so know how it goes. It's definitely possible solo, but two people would be sweet. :) But that's cool if you get the shop to do it, great to have a trusted specialist. Ours up here is Russe...

Circuit & Coffee @ QR 4/2/2017

I'm really looking forward to this one! Downshift is having their Circuit & Coffee event @ 6:00am on the 4th of Feb. They have hired Queensland Raceway's track for 1.5 hours for 'Happy laps'. It's $60 for the 1.5 hours but you also have to apply for a RACERS Licence which is another $20. I'm goi...

Re: Bugged

Nice! Yeah I am looking at buying MCA coil overs soon. I was going to get blues but when I contacted MCA they suggested I get the purple series because they have slightly better peformance.

Do you think the blues perform fine? I would much rather just get blues.
