Re: Can I put wrx springs on a 2008 impreza rs?

Use this as a rough guide for King Springs.

Standard Coil = I'm assuming OEM ride height.
Low Coil = 30mm drop.
Super Low Coil = 50mm drop.
Ultra Low Coil = 70mm drop.

Re: Can I put wrx springs on a 2008 impreza rs?

You can get king springs that are about the same as standard WRX / STi ride height.
I have some that I put on the STi for a few months before changing to some lower king springs that dropped the car about 30mm
They come in all different sizes.

Re: Change the colour of your HVAC Controls, Cruise Control Switch, IC Water Spray Switch and Ignition Barrel Ring

Ok so the cruise and water spray switches are now done using these. (order the T8) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/161409502238?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=460433608464&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The switches have a green backing behind them that I removed using a very fine sandpaper. If ...

So you love just looking at it considering you are unable to drive it..............
One of the best mods you can do imo is replacing the brant alarm with something else.

Re: Change the colour of your HVAC Controls, Cruise Control Switch, IC Water Spray Switch and Ignition Barrel Ring

The ignition surround uses same bulbs as the dash lights. t5 I think. It looks very different to how the HVAC and Switch bulbs connect though so I've ordered these and I'll give it a go. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10x-T5-LED-RED-Car-Wedge-Dashboard-DASH-Gauge-Flood-Light-Bulb-12V-74-70-37-286-/1910...

Re: Change the colour of your HVAC Controls, Cruise Control Switch, IC Water Spray Switch and Ignition Barrel Ring

Cruise and IC Spray switches use a smaller bulb so I've ordered the T3 8mm ones and I'll give them a go.
I haven't opened up the ignition barrel yet because I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm not sure which bulb that will need.

Change the colour of your HVAC Controls, Cruise Control Switch, IC Water Spray Switch and Ignition Barrel Ring

I've been planning to change everything to red for some time now so I'll update this as I gradually finish each one. I finally got around to do the HVAC controls which turned out perfect (image doesn't do it justice). Literally a 10 min job taking your time. HVAC You can order the bulbs from ebay he...

Not surprising considering majority of the mods on my car are APS!
I'll try contacting him there tomorrow.

Have a read - doesn't look that hard but there are definitely a few differences. http://www.i-club.com/forums/bay-area-15/just-did-02-04-05-center-console-conversion-pics-inside-208717/ They changed over the entire centre console which I don't want to do...........I prefer the 03 HVAC look that I h...

High end racing closed down. There was a subaru "expert" working there who's apparently opening up his own business in Dandenong. I forgot the name of it. I was speaking to him recently and he told me he used to work at Subaru on their rally cars. Didn't go into depth about it, but sounds...

03 STi with 05 STi centre vents

Any reason why this couldn't be done with a straight swap (no cutting of dash or inner frames)?
I'm not a fan of the cup holder in the 03 and would rather it wasn't there.

2003 STi headlight globe recommendations

What have you used that you are happy with?
I would like to replace the yellow lighting look with a nice white.

Also your experiences with swapping them out yourself.............I assume I have to pop the entire light casing out to get to the globes?

Is there an after market knob under the dash or in the centre console and you don't know what it does?

Not but it could have easily been removed and covered with a blank plate.

Re: Headlight dashboard indicator not working

I do remember that a few days before the issue I had a problem where the headlight indicator was constantly on and the actual parking lights were stuck on.
It wasn't caused by the switch on top of the steering column either.

It didn't happen for very long though.

Re: Headlight dashboard indicator not working

High beam indicator works fine. I can't get to the headlight indicator globe without pulling the cluster fully apart and it's $150 inspection fee to send it off to someone who knows what they are doing. I'm thinking it's not a globe issue if multiple globes are not turning on in 3 different places.....

Re: Headlight dashboard indicator not working

Yep the dimmer works fine.
Only things I know that aren't working are the climate control lights, cigarette lighter light and headlight indicator on the dashboard.
I don't have a multi meter unfortunately.
