Re: REVNURAZR 02 STI from WA

The Hobbs switch is activated by fuel pressure? Boost pressure - switches at 18 PSI and turns on the 3rd fuel pump. HUGE overkill for the current setup but I'm future proofing for down the track. Sorry to hear about the bug :( The new car looks great, I like your work. Flex fuel tune prehaps a solu...

Re: REVNURAZR 02 STI from WA

Small update. Long story short late last year I had a p-plater fail to give way as I was going through an intersection - end result was a writted off Bugeye. Sad times and painful insurance dealings I eventually was ready to buy a new STI; Waited a while and nothing popped up then I seen this advert...

Does your Xforce have the Milo tin ^^

Or the twin tip.

Wishing I'd kept my Ultrex as the Xforce I have on my new car has horrendous drone.

Re: Ultrex Exhaust, anyone running one?

Had one on my 02 STI, fitment was great and quality is great as well.

Looked subtle and had a nice note on the loud pedal too.

I also run their headers, also very good quality and perfect fitment

Re: What build would I need to achieve 200- 210 kw at the wheels???

Awesome thanks yeah im planning on keeping the car for at least 2 years since on my green p's. Are there any supporting mods that you highly recommend ? Not much off the top of my head. Like I mentioned above, just need to confirm the exhaust is a full 3" turbo back - try find a brand on the m...

Re: What build would I need to achieve 200- 210 kw at the wheels???

The 5 speed can actually handle upwards of 200kw fine, it just needs mechanical sympathy. I'd say 80% of 5 speed failures are limiter bashing launches and snapping 2nd (then having to pull over and retrieve the remains of 2nd gear off the road) Anyways; You have the exhaust - confirm this is a full ...

Re: 03-05 Wrx Factory Double din Head Unit.

Have an oem one out of an 05 STI located in Perth.

6 Stacker and same plug so it should work no issue.

Re: up grading my 2006 wrx head unit and speakers

Front I'd recommend some good quality 6" splits - Focal, Hertz, etc Will need some spacers for the front - Aerpro APS324 is the model I believe. You can use the oem tweeter brackets in the door panels and some double sided tape (3M) to secure them or mount the tweeters on the A pillar. You shou...

Re: Connector on its own near fuse box.

That's a diagnostic plug from memory, I'd be checking clutch/brake switches for CC as a start. They are mounted above the pedal box

Re: 2002 b4 liberty, ej25t engine conversion from 2012 wrx

Very much so... The B4 ECU and wiring won't run the GR 2.5L Running gear the GR gearboxes use ABS sensors for vehicle speed, so you won't have a working speedometer.. Most common thing I have seen people do is go single turbo. This will involve a long block and ECU from a GD WRX (from what I have re...

WTB; 2005 STI

As the title suggests, after an unfortunate incident a few weeks ago, my pride and joy was written off. So I am wanting to get back into another STI. What I am looking for; - clean, low km, late 05 STI (5x114.3 & DCCD) - preferably white or blue, but will look at other options - ideally in WA - ...

Re: Replacing horn pad and steering wheel on 1998 WRX

basic procedure; 1. Disconnect battery, wait a few minutes 2. T20/T30 Torx bit iirc there are 2 screws in either side of the airbag module, removed them 3. Slide the center/airbag module out and disconnect the airbag connector with a small flat head (Youtube for this tutorial) 4. 17mm bolt secures t...

Re: Ej207 shortblock help

I'm not 100% sure on the 05 WRX having AVCS, I'd be inclined to think it is only single AVCS like the 02 STI has. What I would be doing is trying to source some 01-02 WRX heads that DON'T have AVCS as a retrofit is a pretty costly and time consuming venture. 02 STI also has single AVCS in the inlet ...
