Sharpie's off overseas at the moment so you probably won't be getting a reply for a couple of weeks.

Re: New AVO Dump Pipe - Possible Issue

Hey Jeremy, As with most castings there can be imperfections in the surface finish but I'd say in all honesty those sorts of marks will make absolutely no difference in performance. But if you're not 100% happy then please give us a call on Monday and we'll get it all sorted out for you. And apologi...

Re: Engine light after installing boost controller. Help

If you've disconnected the factory boost solenoid electrical connector then that'll be the cause of the check engine light

Re: GC8 turbo actuator problem (rotated housing, front mount

Someone's got a bit creative there - it looks like they've done a twist mount with an IHI turbo there. Normally the turbo inlet faces straight forward and the inlet pipe sits under the manifold. This is a fairly standard looking version of your engine bay - http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg43/GT...

Re: Throughs on Blouch turbos

If you're going with a MHI journal bearing based turbo I would stick with the GTPumps units - have you talked to GTPumps and asked if it can be rebuilt? GTPumps use a much better bearing setup in their turbos.

It should be reading vacuum at that point at idle if everything is right. Only place you'll see zero at idle is between the turbo and the throttle body.

Re: Rotated Setups on GR STI

I have a customer that has gone rotated on one of the later cars - he's running Motec. I would think that the power level you'd want to be at with a rotated turbo, that you'd probably be struggling with a maf sensor to have enough range to tune it effectively.

Re: 2010 WRX tuned @ MSR

Are those Torque figures right ? 600+ NM? That aside, awesome output. Well done. Regards Dyno's on the east coast seem to read torque numbers REALLY high. I don't know if people on the east coast know that, I expect to get flamed for even writing this. Vic typically reads lower than NSW. I think qu...
