Re: Reset Ecu, Clutch is acting out?

Maybe check that the clutch line is not close to the exhaust now that you have removed the heat shield as it might be boiling the fluid otherwise check for leaks and bleed the clutch line. let us know how you go.

I think you will find closed deck is praising the guy for his skills to overcome and that in this day it is not easy to find them among those that just replace.

Yeah I reckon that is incorrect for the wheels and is more about the stud spacing in mm.

Unsure who to speak with at Mentone but if you contact one of the club official ie Prez, VP or Membership officer they should be able to help.

Re: Torque Settings for Front brake caliper 2011 STi

Found this elsewhere:

Those of you with STis, DO NOT torque to 114.3!!!!

It was the wrong figure inserted in the translation of the manual, 114.3 is for the rims...

Some people have apparently snapped bolts trying to get to 114

Proper torque is 80 ft/lb. on the caliper bolts.

Re: Torque Settings for Front brake caliper 2011 STi

I haven't looked at the torque settings but I think you may be getting confused with the wheel stud pitch which is 114.3mm for STi's. :?

Re: 05 sti into 06 sti strut problem

Are you sure? Not that I am an expert but I thought the top hats would all be the same in the GD series including WRX and STi right from 2002 to 2007 irrespective of them going on a 114.3 hub or a 5x100 hub? I think you must have incorrect top hats fitted to the struts. hmmm

The Reefton is always fun but why do you drive on the wrong side of the road on blind corners? Especially when bikes frequent it. :?
