turbo-back need tuning?

Postby krovikan » Sun Aug 09, 2015 6:27 pm

Hi All,

I am planning on getting a custom turbo-back exhaust shortly for my 2015 WRX. I am well aware that to take advantage of it i will need a flash tune. Problem is that I havnt worked out who / how im going to get it tuned (really wanted COBB accessport until i found out it wont work on AUDM ECU).

Question is: can there be any possible issues / problems / damage with the car if I drive around with a 3" turbo-back exhaust with no tune

Regards,
Chris

Ditto all the above..!
Depending on your location? The guys at GotitRex have there own MY15, and are in the process of perfecting dyno tunes..

Thanks guys.

Im in NSW. I could go with MRT with ECUTEK, but it is ridiculously expensive...

I know CRD does excellent work, but they want $1680 for a custom flash tune...

thing is that COBB and ECUTEK have heaps of features (eg: flat foot shifting, launch control, flex fuel) and a custom tune is just a tune.

Kind of stuck atm

Custom tune can Include those features.

Is MSR tuning the MY15 wrx yet?

Alternatively you could buy your own EcuTek license and get an e tune from someone in the states. My brother has done that with his BRZ

They were only made availability a few weeks ago, not in August last year when the OP started the thread
