Hey all, just wanted to share my problem I have with my 2006 WRX to see if anyone else has experienced this problem at all. I have a TBE exhaust installed, recently got it tuned and on cold start the car seems to be holding back when accelerating.. After it's warmed up, it's fine. Have taken it back a couple of times to tweak it with the tuner, but it still seems to be doing it.
Yea, I think I know what you mean. Even stock my gc8 tends to feel a bit stutter and held a bit back when cold too. But when she was modded not long ago, I noticed a huge difference when I upped the after start fuelling amounts in the 0-40C range, especially on larger injectors. Somewhere it may improve it a bit, but it may still happen due to the nature of cold and fuel atomisation.
Yea, without knowing what else they changed, it's mainly just a suggested area to look at. It could also be in the main fuel table needs it richer down low. Maybe also compare closed and open loop tables as the car switches over to closed loop at approx. 70 degrees.
