Tony, cliff, bumblebee, pip jones, Paul, ricksta, Dane, hodgey, blotto, grantdlr, and I'm sure there's others. Lots of pretty piccies but not much racing!

What's taking so long?!

Unfortunately, or fortunately more so, a little bundle of skin and bones has got in my way

I have 95% of the components, just gotta find the time to actually put some work into it!

With a bit of luck, the coupe will be dropped off for the cage, interior, boot and engine bay to be painted on Monday. Then it's assembly time, trying to deal with companies in the states who aren't prepared to ship os is quite testing!

As for Cliff's car, it only needs a few small jobs to be up and running, but I fall into the same category as Paul here, WAITING ON OTHER PEOPLE TO COMPLETE JOBS! Is one the most frustrating things you encounter!

All going well, Cliff's car will be out for a shakedown within the month.

Cheers

slight update
car is @ RTR with the wiring getting sorted.Coming along very well , looks super neat and tidy !
Booked the car in after that too Topstage composites and Carbon Freddy is creating a "Custom " V3 front splitter and adapting one of their wicked V3 rear wings as well.
So at this point it overlaps with the winton round.........so will not be there
The Subinats are 2 weeks later and will be a sqeeze but if all lost will be there as a display. But hopefully will be going by then......
We also have sorted out a Pro Driver for the WTAC,and very happy with the decision.
So watch this space, will be updating a bit more now, as it will be fired by months end.

Its been a long haul but finally getting some efficient guys on board,a couple more sponsors .Kool!!!
Cheers

So I built a racecar in 3 months, bare shell to ready to race. As per usual it's a pretty budget build but the run in tune certainly makes it look promising.

Thanks mate. I hear you've got something with a "bit" of torque being built?

Thanks Kurt. It's just an old trusty GT35R I've had for about 7 years.

Bit of shakedown yesterday at Calder Park. Was pretty hot so timing and boost were dialed down quite a lot, still did 128 mph which is promising, my goal is 140 mph.

Awesome Baz. My chart doesn't look like that  Just got my car back after an engine rebuild and PI is the test day. I would also like to thank Alec from Got it REX. He was extremely generous with his time and knowledge.

By the way, is there a higher bonnet scoop that fits the 1998 WRX?

8) it coming along, v slowly, waiting on the Vbands & t4 turbo flange atm, so i can finish making the exhaust. all fits in the car nicely,

Work has been a little slow & in melb lately, so less money less time,

I put the interior together for the first time last week, looks like it could be a race car, - ill reserve judgement

Think i might need some bolt on spacers, bit more poke required with flairs

I'm not sure about that one sorry.

Anyway the finished product.... well almost, this engine is the test dummy given its only a really cheap open deck unit.
