SubiNats 2018 Rules?

Excellent idea we are not counting points for SubiNats. I agree that is a good idea particularly with travel and cost of 3 events across 2 days.

However, do we know what rules are we going to run? If we run stock NSW rules, many of our cars will be in different categories. For example they don't have a Super Sprint and R spec tyres are highly pointed. Clubman has no R specs in NSW so my stock 2008 STI I would go into Sprint automatically. I do not mind whatever the rules are, it would just be good to finalise them now and publish to the various clubs.

Another suggestion would be a nationalised SubiNats points calculator that is not state based. AKA WTAC style. Then SA, QLD, NSW and Vic can compete knowing what class they are in and modify their cars accordingly in advance.

Also, I think cars with pro drivers should not be eligble for class wins. We can have an invitational class but Garth Walden should not have won 2017, Kurt should have.
