Well done guys. Time is getting awesome now. It would be sensational to see the car come to Australia for Superlap World Time Attack.

In-car video of the first morning run on event day. It was very cold and slippery - you can tell it's a bit squirrelly in the video. Approx. 3 laps.

The new gearbox did lower our speeds on the back straight by about 10km/h, if it wasn't for that we probably would have broken 58 seconds. Still, the driver was fantastic to get a 58.2 lap despite that.

He was incredibly smooth... for a 480+ whp car doing 58's at Tsukuba!

Best times list - lap time, average speed, car type.

Garage Revolution: 53.673 @ 225.8kph - Mazda RX7 FD3S

PanSpeed: 55.97 @ 209.7 - Mazda RX7 FD3S

R Magic: 56.039 @ 218.4 - Mazda RX7 FD3S

Pro Shop Screen: 56.089 @ 212.6 - Mazda RX7 FD3S

Street Special Garage Yahata: 57.071 @ 226.7 - Nissan GTR BNR32

Outer Plus: 57.826 @ 191.4 - Lotus Exige

Ti Racing: 57.833 @ 202.3 - Mazda RX7 FD3S

Varis: 58.028 @ 201.9 - Mitsubishi Evo X CZ4A-RS

Advance Auto: 58.047 @ 208.2 - Corvette C6

5ZIGEN International: 58.22 @ 206.7 - Honda Civic FD2 Turbo

AVO Turbo World: 58.298 @ 203.6 - Subaru WRX GDB

RE Wing: 58.624 @ 203.7 - Mazda RX7 FD3S

Prostock Motorsport: 58.779 @ 206.8 - Nissan GTR BNR32

Got to love the FD3S RX7's! They look great, sound great, and obviously go great!

The last car on your times list: Honda Twincam: 59.625 @ 193.7 - Honda Civic GC8

What is that? I know what a FD2 is but not GC8?
