2008 outlander tint

Postby MrEs » Mon Oct 13, 2008 10:19 am

Hey Rob,

Our Mitsubishi dealer told us that most new cars (including our new Outlander) can't be tinted on front windows due to the window rubbers being too 'tight'.

I find this really hard to believe...! Is this true?
Can you tint our 2008 outlander with out issues?

cheers! :)

What the dealer is referring to incorrectly is a lack of felt on the internal weather seal which is on top of the door trim.....just like current Mercs.
It's the rubber that causes fatal scratching of the film even right through the hard coat surface.

Current Lancers have the same glitch.

Save your money and don't do it.

Regards,
Rob.
