New clutch time - any suggestions

My my06 Lib GT 5speed manual needs a new cluch. Glen Waverly quoted me $3210. F@#$ them. Any alternatives?

Includes labour - remember the clutch has a dual mass flywheel. Some people go to a solid one..

WOW those are some truly big numbers.
Cant recommend anything I'm sorry mate.
Maybe check out some of the Forums OS, LegacyGT.com might be a good start.

that price is about right for a dual mass, they really are a POS....lol....anyone know of a conversion kit im interested about spreading the word...but funnily enough our customers do pay :cheer:

Jeremy swapped the RS' DMF for a SMF when it failed prematurely he was at Mentone. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of collecting all the SMF-setup parts.

From memory, all the SMF parts + labour came in at 1900, yay for warranty! Regardless, that's still cheaper than a new DMF clutch! :lol:

do WRX's have dual mass? ive never come across such numbers?
