New Liberty tbSTi

Postby imania » Mon Oct 31, 2011 5:48 pm

Hey all,
Was carded the other day at uni by Onze so figured i'd join up and have a read.
Have owned my 07 Obsidian Black Pearl Liberty tbSTi since december last year, but being a uni student haven't had the chance to do too much so far. Just a quick k&n filter, resonatorectomy, KW V2 coilovers and an AVO rear sway with uprated mounts (+ a few other small things not really worth mentioning).
Looking forward to getting into full time work so i can spend a little more and get the power figure up a little more! (Endless money pit, i know)
Nice of you guys to have a liberty section on here! i feel all warm and fuzzy already :) i know we share quite a few parts so will definitely have to read into that a bit more.
Anyway, that's enough of a longwinded welcome! Here's some pics!

I have to agree. Grey and black are the best colours on the Liberty. These cars of yours are amazing. I would have bought a TBSTi Liberty if I could :chair:

Very nice ride! I'd love a TbSTI but I have to make do with it's slightly poorer sibling GT

OBP always looks awesome, although it is such a PITA to keep clean. But when clean...

Lol, OBP is horrible to try and keep clean, but in those photos, I'd just detailed it, and it was amazing! Then it rained the next day :( lol
Such nice cars on this forum, look forward to checking some of them out one day!

OBP is such a love/hate thing. I've just detailed mine today also and it looks so beautiful - but by the time I drive it down the end of the street she'll be a dirty ho again...

One thing about Subaru, they really did nail the brief on this car.
European lines and styling certainly look great and haven't aged the car a minute.
Being the previous owner of a MY06 STi GT 6MT in Urban Grey, I have to say it was and STILL is the best colour Subaru ever developed.

Great to see the Liberty Section continuing to grow in popularity.
Enjoy the site and yes would be great to see you onboard as a Member.

good post

It is a shame that they didn't carry on with this design philosophy to the Gen5, or adopt it to the other models in the Subaru range...
