I'm used-car shopping and an this is an option. Any current/previous owners who can tell me of any problems/faults experienced with this model http://redbook.com.au/cars/research/used/details?R=98217&Silo=Spec&Vertical=Car&Ridx=33&eapi=2
Respect the Rex :)

2004 were auto only - Manual available from 2005
Needs 98 ulp, not 95 as in text
Premium pack (leather and sunroof) was optional - Std in 2005
Regular faults include O2 sensors and maf failures, On some the variable valve timing can fail due to blockage of oil to the system (not often but it can happen)
Check all the usual places for mods - look for burred nuts, a too clean exhaust, holes drilled under dash etc. As in all cars, the shockers can go soggy with age and the front rubber bushes should be watched as they can sometimes split. I'm sure others can contribute more.

If well cared for they are quite reliable. Major service at 112500k includes all fluids and timing belt and is big$$

Good luck

Your best bet is to jump on here and ask the same question or do a search.
