Brembo Conversion Liberty RS?

Postby sjdanielsen » Tue Aug 25, 2015 5:29 pm

Hey Guys

I've been advised to upgrade the Liberty to Brembos for track work.

Would love some advice on what needs to be done to upgrade to these.

Thanks heaps!

Front Caliper- Any Brembo calipers from MY02 STi to MY13 and possibly MY14+?.

Front Disc- Any Brembo compatible rotors that fit MY02 - MY04 STi (5x100PCD) or can match the caliper reference above if dual PCD is available.

Rear Calipers- Any Brembo caliper from MY02 STi to MY07.
***** To make the rear calipers fit you can do one of two things. 1- Use MY01- 07 WRX rear hubs. Or 2- use a dogbone with current hubs. (E.g-Kartboy)

Rear disc- DBA make a conversion rotor (E.g- DBA2657S) which is a combination of the smaller WRX handbrake drum 170mm and the larger rotor to suit the STi caliper. These are needed regardless of which option (hub swap or dogbone) you go with.
