Forester Related Discussion

Postby Forum Admin » Sun Jun 15, 2008 1:32 pm

We've now moved the Forester Related Discussion (which was initially started as a trial) from the Members Only section of the forums to the General Access area...
This area has proven to be useful, not only on a technical, news and general topic level, but a relational level between users...

Hi there, Just new to this site.
We purchased a 2003 Forester and love it but we seem to be getting what we think is bad fuel economy. A full tank is lucky to give us 350klm. It is an auto and we do drive it carefully. It has 130,000 on the clock, has had the auto fully serviced and new Perrelli P7 tyres.
Have asked around and some are telling me this is poor mileage while others say its about average.
Questions are: Is this good fuel economy or not... what should we be getting and.....
What can we do to get the best fuel economy from it?

Cheers, Ian.
