Looks great! Can't wait to see it without the roof racks and with the new grill, door handles and smoked lights! Will look bad to the bone!

Last minute delay on getting the roof rails deleted but hoping to tackle the job this week one night. In mean time I washed and took a few pics of the Foz in current state with new door handles colour coded and engine cover trimmed to suit the PW TMIC.

New CF Grill, Hella's installed
Image
New DBA T3 slotted rotors and Project Mu B Spec Pads for the fronts
Image
VF52 has been ported and most of the flutter noise has gone now under part throttle.
The CF Wing for the hatch I have was not installed due to the fact that it comes with only two bolt holes instead of the stocker which has four. Deemed unsafe and as a result I am sad.
aaahhh me Japan Parts I heart you. Few xmas stocking goodies arrived.

One of the most evil Foresters ever! Great work!
Is it the same 4eat as for the last many years, or an upgrade?

thanks boys, the gearbox is the good old 4EAT but I recently bought the following:

2009 STI LONG RATIO SIX SPEED DCCD Box
Shifter/Gearboot and Knob
Modified Tail shaft and Matching Rear Diff
Plus Starter Motor and Clutch Fork

It does not come with a controller for the DCCD so I have purchased the DCCDPro controller on the advice of Doug at STechnic. He showed me this system in one of his clients cars last year. Does a much better job than the stock controller he tells me...should be fun times. http://dccdpro.com/zcart/index.php?main ... ducts_id=2

I have a number of mods planned and purchased and they will go in at the same time as the box upgrade...these include new BBK-M TD05-18G, PW CAI, Perrin Intake Pipe, new BOV plumbed back, some Cusco bracing for the steering rack and rear.

Once all of this is done then clearly it will be time to get the car on the dyno and re-tune.

I also bought these off importmonster in Dec and expect to see them arrive sometime this month.

MY10 WRX STI A-line front seats with airbags which should be a lot more comfortable and somewhat better at holding me in.

Interesting move going from the 52 to the 18G (albeit billet version).
What are you're expected gains from doing so? I'm figuring it's not so much peak(wankfactor) kW, as they're much the same size?

The move from the VF52 to the TD05-18G was really out of interest and to help the group buy along on OzFoz. Also because the VF52s can only produce approximately 435 CFM @ 18psi, a BBK-M is believed to produce over 590 CFM @18psi with ease.
Should be a completely different car though once I transplant the 6MT into her.
