January 2011 Motor Magazine

For those interested the January edition of Motor Magazine has the annual tyre test included, what makes it relevant to this forum is that all the tyres have been put through the testing fitted to a MY 11 STi sedan. So we'll have an updated list of current model tyres and their capabilities for reference :thumbs:

Sorry Kas I haven't seen the edition as yet, not sure if its even on the stands?

Goodyear eagle F1 came first then Toyo Proxes R1R. Potenza 001 came 3rd.

I love the Toyo's on my WRX :thumbs:

( almost as much as my Michie Preceders ! ) :wub:

...I wanted something more "trackish" than the Michies last set !

Will be interesting to see exactly what tyres were tested, and which ones were better in the dry and grip tests since they are the most important.

I was wondering how the R1R's went, they are the tyre on the cover. I run them and think they are great.
