How much are you paying for insurance?

Is $1079/yr pretty bad for a 2004 WRX?

Never had any claims before.

it seems to be the cheapest for me (late 20s)

are there any loopholes for next renewal?

I'm paying $1100 p/a which isn't the worst part of it... a claim adds up to around $1600 due to it being a turbo. I have an 06 sti

I think it all depends on age and claims... My 24 year old son pays MORE for his 99 sti than I pay for my 2 wrxs and a very nice 4x4...

2011 WRX STI - I'm with AAMI Paying $1250 with a $2050 excess though :loopy:

I've been with them since I bought the car in 2011 i'm over 30 and feel as though I'm getting ripped off! I Shopped around and couldn't really get a better deal from the 'main stream' insurers.

What really annoys me is that a new car is ensured for around $56K and now it's insured for $36K and the premiums haven't dropped at all in the 6 years! In fact I pushed up my excess to lower the premium!
