Actuator was checked as well as taking the hose off to the actuator. Still only 7psi. Anyone reccomend a shop in Melbourne that would be able to sort this out without 10 hours of labour ?

Ive spoken to a few people who a fairly confident its either a boost leak issue or the waste gate may be partially stuck/open.

Is there anyone here locally that has made a DIY boost leak tester that i could pay to check for a leak.

Or potentially a shop that could undergo this test opposed to inspecting each individual compenent 1 by 1

Cheers

You have not replaced any of the hose links around the turbo / waste gate area have you? I am getting at that the restrictor pill is still there in the hose from positive pressure to the T piece?

Might want to give the boost controller a clean.

What is your boost gauge? Idle is around -20psi?

idle is exactly on -20psi

did change the hoses on the tpiece but put the restrictor pill back in on the opposite side to the wastegate actuator

Not the boost controller because we have tried no controller, the stock controller and a manual controller.
