Mounting a boost guage

Hey all

Anybody know rules on boost guages and where they can be mounted in brisbane
My gg feels like its leaking boost but not keen to install guage and get a defect any ideas will help out

Just get the ati pod, that's what I run in my gd.

Yea was looking at them only got 1 guage thou but mite have to do

If it's just one gauge for testing, you could just tape it to the upper cup holder. *Not responsible if you break the holder. Did that in my gc8. :) Didn't break its holder though.

The ati is expensive if you're not going to do a gauge load out.

I use the ATI pod and haven't had any issues here in WA.

As long as it's not slapped in the middle of the dash and obscuring your vision, should be fine.

I attached mine to the plastic surround behind the steering wheel with some double sided tape as a temporary measure when I suspected a boost leak. The other (less reliable) option get an OBD2 reader and use the torque app on your phone to check, the app is also able to check for fault codes.

What symptoms is your car showing? Is there excessive turbo noise? In my case it was a melted down pipe cat causing the car to not reach full boost and lose power

Sorry guys bit of an up date installed the guage on the dash and no troubles as of yet however im glad i did install it as car was only hitting 7psi i knew it felt too weak
Cleaned the stock boost solinoid now im getting 15psi wot and loving it even thou i bought the car as a family wagon for my one on the way shell be bout up on boost
