Just wondering if anyone is able to help with what I see as a fairly simple question.. I am due for a major service amongst a few leak finding ventures so I am compiling parts etc.
Lots of mates of mine own Jeeps (slightly irrelevant fact) and source parts from a company in the US who also have a million parts for other cars, including Subarus.. would a US sourced timing belt kit (inc water pump etc) be the same as what is supplied in Australia?
Surely the motors all being EJ20 would take same parts? There's savings of close to 40-50% ..
Thanks in advance for any help!

Given the currency conversion rate and the cost of freight I would be doing some careful calculations as I think savings of 40-50% would be a little optimistic. Then take into consideration making a warranty claim if the need arises, or even the remedy required if the wrong part is sent to you.
