Link g4+ in and tuned... but...

Postby Major » Sat Sep 23, 2017 5:50 pm

So I have had a direct replacement Link put in my 99 WRX and initially it seemed good but now I'm noticing cold start is sitting at 2500 RPM until the engine is warm and sometimes when the car has been driven when I go to start it again it will start and then stall.
It has a VF 24 turbo and a 3 inch from the turbo back and before the tune the boost came with a Savage rush and the only downside seemed to be an extremely rich running car.

It has been turned to 13 PSI but the boost gauge indicates 10 or less depending on God knows what.

It's making 143kw atw and definitely feels slower than before the tune.

It says I can use a Bluetooth connection to make adjustments but info seems limited.

I'm going to do some more research and maybe call a few other shops but for the moment it's a bit... anyway.

Anyone have any help to offer?
I'm in Brisbane.

Well you need to start by looking at the boost and boost duty cycle tables and the idle speed tables.

Have you got an afr gauge running in the car.
To start playn with fueln +/- with out seeing what the engine actually doing is worry.

No af... That's why I wondered about the real time monitoring using Bluetooth...
