Prestige Paintwerks Detailing

Postby Sime » Fri Jul 24, 2009 11:17 am

Hi all,

Effective 29/03/10, we are temporarily suspending our detailing and hand washing services until further notice.

The simple reason is that we're so busy with customer paint jobs, and detailing is so labour-intensive, that we just do not have the available resources to handle both.

Our apologies go out to anybody affected by this change. Occasionally, we may still be able to fit in a detail for a customer alongside other paint refinishing we perform for them, so please do contact us with your requirements and we'll see what we can do.

Cheers,
Sime

One wheel or four? The price is more expensive for/per one wheel as opposed to me painting the set where you get economies of scale.

What year and model WRX wheel (ie. GC8, GD, GD Tuned by STi etc)?
What size (16", 17" or 18")?
Is the factory paint on there at the moment, or at some point have they been painted with a rattle can?
Any gutter rash and/or dings in the wheel?
Centrecaps present?
How many kilometres has the car travelled (helps determine the condition of the wheel)

Varies between $175-225 per wheel, plus removal/refitting and balancing
This is from a set of 07 STi wheels I painted last week:

Hey there,

Unfortunately, not yet.....although I'd like to grow the business in future to feature multiple locations!

Why don't you send the wheels down to me? Just get some wheel boxes for free from your local tyre shop. Probably about $45-60 freight each way (without tyres). I actually do a reasonable amount of painting for interstate customers. No hassle as the freight to/from Sydney is overnight so it's a quick turnaround.

Cheers,
Sime

PS. I'm sorry, but I don't know of any Sydney shops.
