Audi A4 Detail and Correction

Postby Immacreflections » Tue Aug 16, 2011 11:44 am

This detail was done for the owner of the E3's sister, I believe as a present, pretty good present I think :)

The car came in and wasnt in hugely bad condition but could definatly do with a freshen up and correction.

Products used:
Bowdens Body Gel
Bowdens Agent Orange
Bowdens Tar and Bug on wheels
Menzerna and Lake Country for polishing
Zaino on leather
303 on interior
Bowdens Naked Glass
Zaino Z-16
Chem Guys Jetseal
2 layers of Swissvax Shield
OPTI-GUARD on wheels

The car on arrival, foaming, wash, and inspecting for major imperfections.

Hi mate,

Kudos on the amazing work you are doing, and also, the very thorough and impressive way you manage to show the work you are doing on this forum.

I am just curious as to how much something along the lines of what you did to the A4, would cost?

My Gc8 is in ok condition, a few swirls on the bonnet from a previous owner who seems to have given it a a buff with the wrong product etc....

but could use some TLC...

It recently had a roof respray, as well as the rear drivers guard... the main issues are a few lil scratches on the front guards, and the previously mentioned swirls.

anywho, Just thought i would see, out of curiosity.

Cheers and keep those posts coming!

Paddy

Hey Kev for the life of me I could not get that etching out of the satin mould and relaly sheet me! I did how ever give that aerial an absolute beating and got most of it out.

I spoke to the owner about it when the arrived apparently 2 service after the dealership "washed" it it happened! still doesnt make sense, its almost like radiator fluid stains I was thinking and they got them polished out of the paint but cbf'd on the satin mould and aerial. but who knows.

Thanks Snowy, out of the three the Audi was probably my favorite to work on, the E3 didnt need much correcting, the R33 had to many chips and ect to be stunning all over but the Audi was perfect balance :)

Plus its a stunning paint also.
