BOV ruining my performance?

I have been doing some research and i decided to put on an after market bov on my 05 rex, i put it on yesterday avo and i noticed that it doesn't pull as hard and for nearly as long. it is really noticeable. it is a turbosmart one and set to vent to atmosphere is this normal?

No, normal is plumb back. It's probably cracking too soon, you need to adjust the spring tension.
